Hey everyone, its my first post on here also so kind of bare with me if you can. Im 14 years old, turning 15 this September, and im pretty big for my age. Right now i weigh 210lbs and im about 5'10 or 5'11. What i wanna do over the course of the summer is drop at least 20lbs so I can feel better about myself and just look a little more slim. Im not able to get a job in my area until im 16 years old and im not entirely the richest kid out there, so im really limited to the amount of nutrition im able to eat while doing an excercise routine. Before I had my cystectemy, I made an excercise chart for the month of February but i wasn't able to keep up to it. After a few days of the routine i started to get VERY sore and my calve muscles locked up and i was barely able to walk. This was the routine, im not sure what order it was in, but this is it. This was really all i can do because im a severe asthmatic and its very hard for me to run in the summer.

Routine:
50 Lying leg raises
50 crunches
50 calve excercises (not sure of the name, going on tippy toes then down)
50 reps of 20lbs curling (at this time i didnt have weights for my bar)
And 20 (cheating) push ups, as i call them. I would do my push ups with my legs on top of my mattress and go down to the floor and hold the push up for about 2 seconds.

I did not repeat this routine in the same night, and after only a few days i was really sore. But i wanna know if this was a good routine to do before my surgery? If so, i might start it up again, but have a few recovery days within the week of doing so. I also did this routine at night because i had school in the morning. And yes, I will admit that i do eat alot of junk food. I am thinking of convincing my mother to get the nutri-system food thing so i can cut weight a little faster, if anyone knows if the nutri system thing works too, please tell me.

Thanks guys.
