Thread: wow the weirdest thing happened today!!!!!

I was sitting in my class and it was the first on of the day and then some kid got in trouble for drawing and then he got me in trouble too. so i hit him and then i turned my back and he jumped on me in front of everybody and in the middle of class and juts starts punching me. I grabede him and threw him on the ground but i didnt punch him because i didnt want to get in trouble because i playh sports and one of the biggest game of my life is comimng up so i let him punch me like i swear 20 times right in the face. then our teacher broke it up.... and i started laughing and i dont know why... it was pretty crazy so yea im suspendede for liek 2 days.....****

Yea dude that does suck, And I think that it sucks that u got punished for that.
But smart thinking on the staying cool part because personally, I would have hit him back and choked the life out of him. And u know i dont snap that often but u also have seen what hapens when I do snap. So kudos on not flipping because I would of.

hey mmafan thanks for the feedback i was trying to keep my cool and now trhat i know the reprocutions i wil ltry to keep a level head and see if he would want to fight or spare outside of school. But that was really good info that you gave me... thanks

this is an old thread, but this is an interesting point. tap_out845 landed the first blow.

sounds like this individual was in high school at the time of that post. high school is not a place to fight, no matter how bad you might want to.

this is the age of the patriot act. starting a fight in school is rapidly becoming an offense that will land you in prison. some who read this may be inclined to say "paranoid" or some such.

think it through.

in many highschools in america, it is becoming commonplace for "random searches" involving dogs, rifles and everyone in the building crouched facing a wall. as time goes on, "the state" picks seemingly smaller and smaller molehills to make mountains out of.

we haven't even gotten to what could happen to both/all involved in a fight if a teacher is struck or hurt. if it wasn't a felony before, it is now.

since there seems to be a lot of young people who check this site out, it seemed in order to take some time to address this matter.

you are young, you are tough, you ain't gonna take dat from some sucka runnin' his mouth...

guess what kids, if the worst thing that happens to you is someone calls names or taunts you.... you have had a pretty uneventful day.

all of you... grow up. really, grow up. kids your age are being required to be "more adult" than ever before. there are enough young people going to prison for really serious things. don't add to the situation by getting dumped in prison over something as stupid as "juvenile mouthrunning".

your parents are facing greater and greater consquences for your actions every day. make no mistake. when your parents tell you that your actions could affect your whole family, THEY MEAN IT. a simple fistfight at a school now has the power to destroy a family... literally.

now this is a "fight site" and we all enjoy combatives, but with this enjoyment comes a certain level of responsibility. if you want to be a part of the global martial community, then live up to it and don't jeopardize yourselves or those you care about over something as simple as "ego trippin'".

Yeah you shouldnt fight in schools and try to avoid all; conflicts if you can, in my opinion you made the best of the situation that you could and i would say it was good that you held back as i would have "reacted diferently" :P

agreed. can't tell you how much or how often have wanted to just...... alter someones "world view". we've all been there. but it seems like indulging that impulse should be a last resort.

you fight to protect yourself, or someone who can't protect themselves.
